Vintage Inspired Baby Girl Clothes

Baby Dress by Mini Boden

Baby Dress by Mini Boden

I’M ALL OVER VINTAGE PRINTS AND STYLING FOR BABIES The dress above was a recent purchase from Mini Boden, I am in love with the alphabet fabric print, of course the fact its pink and has a frilly collar! After shopping for two boy babies I’m relishing the opportunity to go all out girly! Whatever anyone says the boys clothes on the market ( like mens) are no way as lovely.

As we know with babies there can be lots of changes and they grow fast, so here are a few of my top vintage style pics at great prices, with a few extra special ones thrown in!

Always a fan of clothes inspired by vintage, they hark back to an innocent time which I love. Little animal or floral inspired embroidery, smocking, frills! Send it all my way please. Here are a few of my top picks out there at the moment.

GINGHAM I love the mini gingham print dress above with the daisy embroidery and frills, so beautify designed and an amazing price from Mothercare £14.50.

SMOCKING These smocked dresses with ditsy print are absolutely adorable. I especially like the frilly collar on the Marks and Spencer one (left) £18. There is something about the Liberty style print that reminds me of my dresses as a little girl. The pink dress above is from Next £16.

KNITTED ROMPERS These are practical and cosy, they feel incredibly vintage and look just gorgeous. The pink stripe “hi” romper on the left is from Bonnie and Mob £52.95 and the one below is from Beau Baby Boutique £21.99.

GRANNY KNIT CARDIGAN Lastly there is the classic vintage piece the cardigan. I was always jealous of other mums who still had a granny around to kit for them. They just look so gorgeous all cozied up in those pastel coloured woolies with giant buttons!
