Flora Fizz Champagne Cocktail + frozen flower ice
I do love a cocktail, especially a champagne cocktail, especially one with frozen flowers in the ice! This has beautiful floral undertones and goes down a treat.
YOU WILL NEED
2 oz Gin
0.5 oz Fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz Pink grapefruit juice
0.75 oz Elderflower Liqueur
Dash of grenadine
2 oz Champagne
Shake all ingredients, except for champagne, with ice. Strain into a champagne saucer, then top with champagne.
To make the ice cubes, use an ice cube tray to freeze a selection of edible flowers in water. Place in glasses just as you serve, and will melt away to reveal the flowers.
*Edible flowers include; basil flower, carnation, chrysanthemum, citrus flowers, clover, cornflower, jasmine, lavender, lilac, pansy, primrose, rose, sage, thyme and violet.
